I will not be bullied into changing my blog.
Thank you all SO much for your support!!
I deleted a lot of dogs at first, so I will need you help to remember which ones they were! Can you give me details, names, pics, anything! Let's try t stay away from anime, if possible.
Finals are coming up for me, so I might not fix everything immediately, so please be patient.
Until then, feel free to roleplay, chat, whatever!
THANK YOU!

Zoo Members
Spark listened intently as the lead wolf, Coral, spoke. She said, "My name is Coral, and this is Frankie, Bubbles, and Newt. We also rescued a stray cat on the way, could you at least tend to her wounds? We're wolves from the zoo. Recently the zoo caught fire, and now we have nowhere else to go. The other wolves and I escaped when we could. We tried talking to LightningPack, FiercePack, and even PeacePack, but none of them excepted us. Please help us!"
Spark thought quietly for a moment, and then replied, "This is not a decision I can make alone. You seem like fair enough dogs..." Spark glanced uncertainly at the cat, and wondered how Dusk and River would feel about healing a cat. "I will consult with my pack. You are all welcome to stay the night here, and I will talk to Dusk about helping any wounds you may have. Feel free to take a piece of freshkill."
Spark jumped up onto the High Stone, howled to her pack, and sat down, watching them gather before her.
"ThunderPack," she called. "We have guests." She introduced all of the newcomers one by one, noding to each of them in turn. "The decision is your's. Should we let them stay? They seem like good dogs. I will tell you now what I think. They are from a twoleg zoo, where they were fed crowfood, and surrounded by twolegs all day and night. They have been mellowed, if not tamed. We will have to teach them to hunt, to survive in the wild, if they are to survive. I think it can be done, they seem like good dogs. In the meantime, we would hunt for them." Spark heard several dogs groan below her, and she shot them a sharp glance. "Is it not what we do now for our pups, our trainees? Newleaf if here, there is plenty of prey, do not fear! Now for the matter of the cat, Paws. She is wounded, so Dusk, you and River will attend to her wounds." She gave the clearing a last sweeping glace, and then said, "Meeting dismissed!" Spark nodded to her pack and then jumped down, to consult with Ice.
{I will set up a poll! Feel free to voice your opinions below! Details about Coral and the rest of the wolves, and cat, may be found at the Join page.}

Three New Members

Spark sat under the High Stone, talking with Ember. Most of the pack was out hunting or patrolling. It was the first nice day on ages. There was hardly a could in the sky, and a soft breeze wound its way through the clearing. The temperature, which had been hovering around the low forties for about a week, had finally risen to the mid-sixties. Spark was just about to suggest going hunting themselves, when a branch snapped loudly behind them. Spark looked around to see a big black wol step through. It was follwed by two more. The first two were male, but the third was female. The first male walked curiously into the clearing, glancing around casually as if this were his territory. The second looked around warily, as if he didn't trust the place. Finally the she-wolf padded in, gliding along smoothly. A cold air surrounded her, and Spark disliked her at once. She dind't trust her, either. Spark got up. "And who are you?" she demanded.
The first dog looked up. "That's none of your business, now is it-" he was cut off by the she-wolf.
"Now, that's no way to talk to your new leader, is it, Skeet?" she said coldly, in a slightly mocking tone. The male, Skeet, grumbled to himself, looking away. The other male didn't comment.
"Who are you?" Spark asked.
"Excuse us," the she-wolf said. "This is Skeet," she continued, indicating the wolf that had spoen first. "And that is Shiver," she added, nodding towards the smaller male. She introduced him with an air of contempt. "And they cll me Dima. We are here to join your pack." She looked around, as if wondering where the other dogs were.
Spark didn't like them. But she couldn't say no, could she? She had let in all the other dogs... "Why do you want to join?" she asked, stalling for time to think.
Dima answered, "Wolves need a pack to belong to, don't they, Spark? We are just some innocent rogues who need a pack. Won't you let us join?" Her voice was laced with coldness, as if she'd rather be anywhere else.
"How do you know my name?" Spark wondered.
This seemed to unnerve Dima for a second, But she was a quick-thinker. "I heard you and Ember talking," she replied smoothly.
Spark was not convinced, but didn't say more. She turned to Ember, who shrugged. "Excuse us," she said, and turned to confirm with him out of earshot. "Should we let them join?" she asked him.
"I don't think we can denie it to them..." he murmured. "Too bad Ice is out patrolling," he added.
"Yes, hmmm..." Spark thought for a moment, gazing out over Ember. Suddenly Echo appeared out of the forest, a rabbit clamped between his jaws. He was heading toward tehe freshkill pile when he noticed the three black wolves. He froze. The rabbit fwll to the ground from his slack jaw, and he started to tremble. Even from this distance Spark could tell he was suddenly terrified. He suddenly unfroze, grabbed the rabbit, and bolted towards the freshkill pile to drop the rabbit off, the swiftly reentered the woods. Spark cocked her head, confused. Ember hadn't seen it, and he glanced behind him when he noticed Spark staring, but Echo had already gone.
"What is it?" he asked. Spark didn't respond. She turned back to the newcomers.
"You may join," she announced stiffly. I will announce it to the pack later tonight.
"Thank you," Dima said, sneering. She lead Shiver and Skeet in towards the freshkill pile, where they helped themselves generously to the prey there.
"When Ice comes back, tell her to keep a keen eye on them," she told Ember quietly, then settled down to watch them for herself.
(The top picture is Dima, the she-wolf. The second down is Skeet, and then Shiver, the two males.)

Your New Deputy and Pups!!!
Spark bounds up to the High Stone and howls, calling the pack to her. She looks down at everyone. The dogs running for deputy stand expectantly beneath the High Stone, fur groomed and chests puffed out. Spark said, "ThunderPack, you have all voted for your deputy, and now the results are in. Ice, you had the most votes and will be deputy." She watched the younger trainer as her smile grew, and she jumped up in joy. Howls of approval erupted from the rest of the pack. When she could be heard again, she continued. "Kisharu, the votes were close, but you were runner-up. Congratulations, you will be head warrior from now on. Third in command. Leo and Cleo, Brambles, and Amber, thank you for running, but you didn't have enough votes. You are still honored warriors among the pack." The pack was still murmuring excitedly.
"Now for other matters. Thank you to every dog who helped rescue Surry from the ravine. She is now safely in camp, where I had time to question both pups further. They say they can hardly remember their mother or father. Instead they remember a pack of big black wolves, with a harsh accent, ordering them around all the time, and abusing them. Frock said they were not related to them, but don't remember how they came to live with them. I suspect they were too young at the time. These wolves were chasing the pups when Surry slipped and fell down the ravine. One wolf told Frock that we were up ahead, and he came to find help. When he returned they had gone. I don't know how they knew we were here, unless they were on our territory, watching us. So from now on Ice, please double the border patrols, and hunters please keep an eye open for anything suspicious. Frock and Surry will stay with us from now on." Spark thought for a moment.
"That is all," she said, "Meeting dismissed!"
"Ice, Ice, Ice!!"
"Kisharu, Kisharu!"

A Young Newcomer

A small light brown pup hurtled into the camp, wide-eyed and panting. He looked around, startled by all of the dogs around, but he need their help. He ran up to a black dog, Blaze, and stammered, "Help! My sister is hurt, please help us!" Blaze looked down at the young pup. He crouched down to be at eye level with him.
"Hi, young one, who are you? I don't recognize you." He didn't take the pup's desperate cries seriously at all.
"My name is Frock, and my sister, Surry, fell! She's stuck down there and I can't get her down without falling myself! Will you help us?" He kept glancing back, as though making sure Surry weren't going to sudenly appear out of the forest. Blaze realized Frock really meant what he was saying. He stood up.
"Let me go talk to my leader, Spark. ome with me." He quickly trotted over to Spark, who was eating a piece of deer with Ember. She looked up when Blaze arrived with Frock scrambling along beind him.
"Who is this, Blaze?" She asked, swallowing a mouthfull of deer meat and standing up.
"This is Frock, he just came. He says his sister Sully fell and is stuck somewhere."
"Surry! Frock corrected him impatiently. He was hopping around on his toes. "Quick, can you help me get her out?" Spark immediately burst into action.
"Yes, where is she? What did she fall into?" she demanded.
"A ravine I think," he answered. "Follow me!" He turned and started running back the way he came.
"Whoa Frock, let me gather my pack first. Spark then juped up onto the High Stone and howled. He pack gathered before her. "This young pup here just arrived, telling me that his sister has fallen an is stuck. We cannot ignored a pup in need, so I want Kisharu, Moona, Echo, Blaze, Star, and Leo to come with me. We never know what we'll find. Let's go!" She jumped off the High Stone and jogged to where Frock was. He quickly turned and once again made for the trees, the dogs following him.
Echo hung back, following behind last. He had a familiar feeing about Frock. Almost as though...no, it couldn't be. He slowed even further, letting the dogs ahead of him slip out of sight. There was something fishy going on here, and he had to find out what.
(If you were chosen to go, comment on how you get Surry out of the narrow ravine. Surry is the black pup, Frock is brown. Bring Surry and Frock back to camp, please.)

Deputy Nominations Page
Spark jumped up onto the High Stone, the sun shining down for the past day had melted most of it away. The Stone even felt worm to her paws. She howled. "ThunderPack, now the time you jave all been waiting for! We need a deputy, with our growing size, and I believe you should be the ones to choose him or her. Please tell me if you want to nominate youself, or if you nominate someone else. Of course you have to be a trainer or a warrior, sorry, no trainees," she added, seeing several looks of dismay from the trianee's gathered around. The deputy will basically just put together patrols, and keep the pack in line when I cannot. So who wants to have a chance at deputy?" Spark asked, looking around.
(If you told me on the last post, just post it again here. Please, if you are running try to come on regularly, or as often as you can. I will set up a poll soon, so post quickly if you want to run!)

The Storm is Over!!
Spark glanced doubtfully up at the High Stone, now five feet higher up because of the snow. "Not going to happen," she muttered to herself. But she wasn't going to let five feet of snow stop her. "ThunderPack!" she howled. "The blizzard has passed! And we are still growing! I would like to welcome Soul and Light into the pack. Amber and Ice have been chosen as their mentors, please teach them all you know." She watched as the dogs who she had called out poked their heads up and looked around for their new trainees or mentors. "We also have Snow, a new pup joining us. Night, would you please look after her until she is six moons old, and can become a trainee?" She glances down at Night and Snow, hoping Night would take to her. "Now, ThunderPack, let's hope this snow melts fast so we can get out of here soon! We could try digging our way around more...we'll see. And now to another matter entirely. I would like you all to consider who should be deputy. We'll decide officially later, but start thinking about it now. Meeting dismissed!" Spark lowered herself down into her snow cave and closed her eyes.
(We will officially decide by voting, and there will be some requirements like how often you com on and such, so just start considering that now...wink, wink)

The Storm Hits, and Brings New Members!
Spark jumps to the High Stone, shivering with cold even through her thick coat of fur. "ThunderPack," she says, afyter howling for their attention. "The storm has begun!" And indeed, the snow was falling thickly now, already starting to accumulate on the ground in some places. "But first," she continued, "I would like to announce some new members. Ice and Amber have come from another pack called Lighteningpack, where the leader killed most of his packmates. Brambles, Moona, Luna and Night have also joined us! And Night brings a pup, Timber! Thank you for bringing new life to this pack, although you do so at a hard time." She looks down to Timber, shvering in the snow. "We will try to get him warmed up," she said, grimacing. "So, the preparations begin. I want all the freshkill pulled underneath the High Stone. You will all sleep here tonight. he Stone will be a great barrier keeping the wind off us from this side. When the snow gets high enough, we will dig tunnels for ourselvs. These caves will shelter us for who knows how long, so dig them well. Night, try not to let Timber touch the ground, because it is very cold. I'm sure you know this already, but keep him on top of your body in the cave you dig. When you get hungry, make your way to the freshkill pile and take something, but make sure to leave enough for the others. I don't want any adventurers either," she added, looking down at Puff, who was staring off into the woods with a curious expression on her face. "We don't need anyone to get lost in the blizzard." Just then the winds picked up, and Spark quickly jumped off the High Stone, yelling "Meeting dismissed!" as she went.

Winter Storm
Once again Spark jumps up to the Hgh Stone. A cool breeze ruffles her fur. She howls, calling her pack to her. "ThunderPack! I bring news that I must share with you all. Ember, my brother, is very knowledgable when it comes to the weather. He just informed me that there is a terrible blizzard on the way! It will strike in two days and will last for several. The snow will pile high, covering us. So we must prepare! I want the hunting parties to double. Mernen, you lead one party past the river, and Rain, lead one over by FiercePack's territory. Be careful not to cross the border, though. We will stock up on freshkill, so we will not starve in the snow. When it does hit, we will dig snow caves. Ember and I used to have to deal with blizzards all the time, and we know what to do. The caves will provide shelter from the winds. Now, get hunting! Meeting dismissed!"
New Members!
Spark lept up onto the High Stone, glowing with pride. She howled, and her pack gathered before her. "ThunderPack! I am proud to announce that we have some new members joining us today! Dusk, our Healer, has taken on an apprentice! River, know that Dusk is a fine Healer, and learn all you can from him. River's mother, Rain, has also joined us, and taken on a trainee of her own. Puff, learn what you can from this talented she-wolf. Raven, our other trainee, will be trained by Blaze. Teach her what you can. Hakurou, Sleet, Kisharu, and Mernen have joined our ranks as well. Soon they may have trainees of their own. This shows that ThunderPack is growing stronger everyday. So go out, start your training, hunt for the pack! Meeting dismissed!"
"Dusk, River, Rain, Puff, Raven, Hakurou, Sleet, Kisharu, Mernen!"
(PS-Willowfeather, Sleet's picture isn't working! Do you want to choose another one? I'll post him when I here back from you. Thanks!)
